Optional Student Laptop Insurance
FBISD recommends that all students purchase laptop insurance annually to protect their EquippED laptop against accidental damage, loss, or theft.
Choose the Correct Option to Purchase Laptop Insurance:
1. New Student Laptop Insurance 2025–2026 —New students have 2 weeks from their enrollment date to purchase optional laptop insurance.
After 2 weeks, they must use the Late Purchase option.
2. Student Laptop Insurance (After Aug. 29) - for existing students or more than 2 weeks after enrollment (for new students). A laptop inspection is required before coverage is activated.
Coverage Details—FBISD Insurance includes:
- Up to 2 repairs per year – covered 100%.
- 1 total loss per year (lost, stolen, or unrepairable device) is covered 100% after a $150 deductible.
- Coverage is valid through August 15, 2026.
